Carole Ann (Porto) Duchnik was born in December 1962 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York US to Mary Porto Sunzeri and Samuel Porto, and had siblings Carmela Porto, Patricia Porto Patronaggio, Marilyn Porto, Thomas Porto, Samuel Porto Jr, Sylvia Ferarro Porto, and Joan Sardina Porto. She married John W Duchnik in August 1981 and they later divorced. She had a child Nicole Duchnik. Carole Duchnik died at age 57 years old in 2019 at Sisters of Charity Hospital 2157 Main Rd, in Buffalo.

    Carole loved to play bingo with her friends and family in the USA and in Canada.Carole Loved The casino especially her lucky 7 slots! My mother loved hamburgers and cake especially chocolate cake! She could be grumpy but she also had a big heart especially for in need children or children seen in winter without gloves she often wore leather gloves when she worked in the city of Buffalo at Russ bakery a family business and she seen a child without gloves she would often give her own gloves away to make sure the child was warm. My mother was a tough woman and sometimes hard to get along with but she also had a rough life and lifelong diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis which affected a lot as well as copd from smoking. Carole was a hard worker all of her life! She was a mother and grandmother as well as a daughter and sister to her parents and 7 other siblings as she was the youngest of 8 children.
