She married dr. Hendrikus (Henry) Keinekorte in Clinton Germantown IL. in 1855. She did have 1 child and that was Eugenia Wilhelmina, who was born in 1860 in Germantown. Eugenia married my grand-grandfather Muskens who visited his uncle, a priest, in Germantown. he lived in Gennep, Holland. As a 16 year old bride Eugenia came to Holland and she got 17 children! After a few years, her mother Catharine Otke followed her to Europe, Holland, Gennep.
The story says...and I wonder if that is true...: Catharina Otke had this child Eugenia with her thirth husband dr. Kleinekorte. My grandmother told me that she had two husbands , who died, before.....Catharina came to the USA by sailboat and came back by steamer?

In 1823, in the year that Catharina Otke was born, on April 13th, Franz Liszt - who was 11 - gave a concert in Austria. After the concert, he was personally congratulated by Ludwig van Beethoven.

In 1862, Catharina was 39 years old when on July 1st, the Bureau of Internal Revenue was created. Established to raise funds for the Civil War, income tax was supposed to be temporary and was allowed to expire 10 years later. The Internal Revenue Service was created in the early 20th century.

In 1878, when she was 55 years old, on June 15th, photographer Eadweard Muybridge - at the request of Leland Stanford - produced the first sequence of stop-motion still photographs. Stanford contended that a galloping horse had all four feet off the ground. Only photos of a horse at a gallop would settle the question and, using 12 cameras and a series of photos, Muybridge settled the question: Stanford was right. Muybridge's use of several cameras and stills led to motion pictures.

In 1898, by the time she was 75 years old, magnate and philanthropist John D. Rockefeller's Standard Oil Company controlled 84% of the oil and pipelines in the United States. Rockefeller grew Standard Oil through the merger of several other small oil companies throughout the U.S., creating a monopoly.

In 1907, in the year of Catharina Otke's passing, radiometric dating, a recently discovered technology that could date rocks, found that the earth was 2.2 billion years old which was dramatically older than previously thought. Later refinements and advancements in science would date the age of the earth at over 4.5 billion years.
