    Chester F Bohlender was born to Frederick Bohlender (1888-1980) and Mary Bohlender (born 1893) and had a brother Harold Ivan Bohlender (1916-1995). He lived in Oregon, then in Rockland Washington, and back to Oregon before World War 2. He served in the Air Corps during the war and lost his life overseas. He was buried in the same grave with Lt Thomas J. Harvey, Sgt. Elbert R. McKernan, Robert L. Duncan, and Rudolph W. Kolody according to a U.S. National Cemetery Interment Control form.
