His mother Pearl was born on April 26, 1907 in Pillager, Cass County, Minnesota, USA and passed away on November 20, 1992 in Brainerd, Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States of America.

Conrad Z. Amerud, 54, Niagara Falls, N.Y. died Monday, July 19 at Memorial Medical Center in N.Y. He was born May 7, 1945 in Brainerd to Arthur and Pearl (Barnett) Amerud. He moved to Texas in 1984, after serving in the U.S. Army for 20 years, overseas. He served in Vietnam and was awarded many medals, ribbons and citations. He has been a resident of Niagara Falls since 1989. At the time of his death he was employed by Appolo Steel in Niagara Falls, where he had worked for four years. Survivors include his wife Linda (Glant) of Niagara Falls; a son, Scott Amerud; daughters, Heidi Amerud and Laura Amerud; a sister, Bonnie Hale; a brother, Harold Amerud and five grandchildren. All children and siblings reside in Minnesota. His parents, Arthur and Pearl and brother, Milton Amerud all died earlier. Services were Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Peter A. Wilson Funeral Chapel in Niagara Falls, N.Y. with the Rev. Denny Web officiating.
