Previously - since the 17th century - the term computer meant "one who computes" and referred to human beings who worked with numbers.

1907 - Curtis was just 10 years old when the showman Florenz Ziegfeld introduced his Ziegfeld Follies. For almost a quarter of a century, the Ziegfeld follies were the toast of Broadway.

1918 - Curtis was 21 years old when in July, Russian revolutionaries executed the former Tzar Nicholas II and his immediate family. While it was rumored that two of the children had survived, it was later proven through DNA analysis - when their bodies were found - that the entire family had been killed.
