Daniel of Webster passed away on October 24, 1852 in Marshfield, Massachusetts US at age 70. He was buried in Winslow Cemetery, Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts. He was born on January 18, 1782 in Salisbury, New Hampshire US. We have no information about Daniel's immediate family.

In 1809, when he was 27 years old, on December 30th, Boston Massachusetts banned the wearing of masks at balls. Boston was following many other places - including England - by banning masked balls, which were considered to contribute to loose morals. After all, with masks, you couldn't tell the class of the person or even their gender! The law was extended in 1849 and repealed in 1963.

In 1810, by the time he was 28 years old, on November 17th, the Anglo-Swedish War (1810–12) began. Sweden declared war on the United Kingdom. While no hostilities occurred, France had demanded that Sweden declare the war and for economic reasons, Sweden complied. Two years later, France occupied Swedish Territory and Sweden sought peace with Great Britain.

In 1822, Daniel was 40 years old when was the year that coffee was no longer banned in Sweden. Originally used as a religious drink in Arabia more than 1100 years ago, coffee was banned in many European countries until the 18th century.

In 1840, Daniel was 58 years old when on May 7th, the Great Natchez Tornado hit Mississippi. Around 2p, the second deadliest tornado in U.S. history hit Natchez and the surrounding area. It has been estimated to be a F4 or F5 storm and over 317 people were killed - 109 were injured.

In 1852, in the year of Daniel of Webster's passing, on March 2nd, an experimental steam fire engine was tested in the US. Great Britain had begun using "steam pumpers" after 1829, when they were invented.
