Ellen (Waggoner) Goodson 1859 - 1935

Ellen (Waggoner) Goodson was born on July 1, 1859 in Creston, Natchitoches Parish County, Louisiana United States to Robert Whit Waggoner, and had siblings Alabama Annie Waggoner and William Thomas Waggoner. She married Narl Goodson in 1876, and they were married until Narl's death on October 3, 1880. They had children Amelia (Goodson) and Liz (Goodson). She would also marry Thomas Jefferson Goodson, and they were married until death separated them. They had children Vivian (Goodson) Woodward and Lola (Goodson) Woodward. Ellen Goodson died at age 76 years old on October 15, 1935 in Shreveport, and was buried on October 16, 1935 in Campti.

    Ellen Waggoner is the child of Enellia (1828-1895) and Robert Waggoner (1821-1880). She was born on July 1 of either 1859 or 1868 in Creston, Louisiana. She had siblings Alabama Annie (1847-1896), William Thomas (1850-1925), Lucinda (born 1852), Robert Whit Jr (1856-1919), Benjamin (1857-1915), Emma (1861-1880), and Olivia Waggoner (born 1864). She first married Narl Goodson in 1876 and they had two daughters, Elizabeth and Amelia. 4 years after they married, Narl died and Ellen then married his brother Thomas 2 years after his death on Dec 29, 1882. Ellen and Thomas had children Ursula (1884-1967), Josephine Agnes (1885-1948), Dennis (1890-1956), Ellis Joseph (1892-1934), Thomas Jefferson (1894-1980), Oma Gabriel (1894-1973), Lola (1896-1980), Emeline (1898-1978), and Vivian Goodson (1900-1980). Ellen Goodson passed away on October 17, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
