There is no registered Birth of Elsie Dellar @ BDM Victoria. She died under the name of Irene Dawson "Widow, Father & Mother Unknown and was Buried by the state in the CofE section. She was Married @4 Don St Bendigo on the15 July 1907 Marriage cert 6293. There is more private information about anomalies in her history & dates. Part 2 :Further research resulted in the finding that Elsie was fostered by William & Maria Dellar and her real father & mother never married. Elsie stated on her marriage Cert that William & Maria were her Parents ,so she may never have Known who were her real parents actually were.

In 1887, in the year that Elsie Dellar was born, on July 1st, the assembly for the supports of the Eiffel Tower began . A wrought iron lattice tower, it was designed and built by Gustave Eiffel - who also contributed to the building of the Statue of Liberty. There are 18,000 pieces in the Eiffel Tower - which had to be built separately and then assembled in place - with rivets - to complete the Tower.

In 1890, he was only 3 years old when on October 9th, in Satory, France, the first fixed-wing, steam powered aircraft flew. "Ader √Čole" flew, uncontrolled, for about 160 ft. at a height of just under 8 inches off the ground.

In 1895, by the time he was just 8 years old, on May 18th, Italy's first motor race was held. The race was 58 miles long - from Turin to Asti and back. Five cars started but only three completed the race. It was won by Simone Federman who drove a Daimler Omnibus - his average speed was 9.6 mph.

In 1909, at the age of 22 years old, Elsie was alive when Polish physician and medical researcher Paul Ehrlich found a cure for syphilis, which was a prevalent (but undiscussed) disease. He found that an arsenic compound completely cured syphilis within 3 weeks.

In 1919, in the year of Elsie Dellar's passing, in the summer and early autumn, race riots erupted in 26 U.S. cities, resulting in hundreds of deaths and even more people being badly hurt. In most cases, African-Americans were the victims. It was called the "Red Summer". Men who were returning from World War I needed jobs and there was competition for those jobs among the races. Tension was heightened by the use by many companies of blacks as strikebreakers.
