First released in December 1937, it was originally dubbed "Disney's Folly" but the premiere received a standing ovation from the audience. The same summer, there were riots in Beaumont, Texas and Harlem, New York.

1954 - When he was just 15 years old, on May 17th, the Supreme Court released a decision on Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka.
