Felicia was the daughter of Bruce and Mary Lansbury. She belonged to a family with a long history of performing - her paternal grandmother, Moyna Macgill, appeared in British theater and in films and tv in the US and Great Britain. Her father Bruce, and his twin brother, Edgar, were both "producers of note" in Theater and TV. Her aunt was well-known actress Angela Lansbury. Felicia appeared on an episode of "Murder, She wrote" in March of 1989 - her Aunt Angela Lansbury's hit tv show. Her cousin (Angela's son) directed the episode. It was Felicia's tv debut. In addition to acting, she was involved in many theatre, television, and film programs in a variety of ways. Since 2007, she has been a professor at Fort Lewis College in Colorado. Education: M.F.A., Directing, American Film Institute, 1995 B.F.A., Theatre Arts, New York University, 1987 Expertise: Acting Acting for Camera History of Modern Theatre Theatre Directing and Production Women in Hollywood Felicia Lansbury Meyer is an Associate Professor in the Department of Theatre at Fort Lewis College. She joined the college in 2007. Lansbury Meyer teaches a range of production, history, and acting classes in the Department of Theatre, where she also directs stage productions. Prior to joining the faculty at Fort Lewis College, Lansbury Meyer worked extensively in theatre, television, and film. She has appeared in over a dozen stage productions, acted in television programs such as Murder, She Wrote and Knot’s Landing, and served in various production roles. Lansbury Meyer is a Common Reading Board Member and President of the Friends of the Theatre Board at Fort Lewis College. She is also a juror for Durango Arts Center 10 Minute Plays, the creator of the Theatrically Speaking Series, and involved with the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, where in 2015 she earned the Outstanding Ability to Captivate & Transcend through Performance Award. Lansbury Meyer is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the Screen Actors Guild, Friends of the Theatre Board at Fort Lewis College, Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, and the Durango Independent Film Festival.

In 1964, in the year that Felicia Lansbury was born, on June 11th, activist Nelson Mandela was sentenced to life imprisonment in South Africa for conspiring to overthrow the state (because of his numerous anti-apartheid activities). He served 27 years in prison.

In 1970, on May 1st, US troops invaded Cambodia, expanding the Vietnam War. The invasion of Cambodia was a Nixon policy, although it was argued against by both his Secretary of State and his Secretary of Defense.

In 1973, in October, Vice President Spiro Agnew resigned - President Nixon nominated Gerald Ford for Vice President. Nixon's tax returns came under investigation. Nixon offered the recently discovered Oval Office tapes be heard by one person and summarized - his offer was rejected by the Special Prosecutor. Nixon ordered the Attorney General, then the assistant Attorney General, to fire the Special Prosecutor. Both refused and were fired. The Solicitor General became the acting Attorney General and fired the Special Prosecutor (the Saturday Night Massacre). Nixon releases some of the tapes, under extreme pressure because of the firings.

In 1984, on January 1, "Baby Bells" were created. AT&T had been the provider of telephone service (and equipment) in the United States. The company kept Western Electric, Bell Labs, and AT&T Long Distance. Seven new regional companies (the Baby Bells) covered local telephone service and were separately owned. AT&T lost 70% of its book value due to this move.

In 1999, on January 1st, the Euro became the new official single currency of the eurozone. It was used by Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain and has since spread in use. Daily, over 337 million Europeans use the euro.
