It had previously taken 12 hours to assemble a whole vehicle - now it took only two hours and 30 minutes! The resources managed by the National Park Service have often been referred to as the "crown jewels" of the United States.

1959 - By the time she was 46 years old, on August 8th, Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States. The US flag was changed to show 50 stars.
