Gary had one half-brother, James Horace Farrar (1938 - 1939). Gary Farrar's first marriage was to Patricia M. Casterline on July 15th, 1974 . They divorced on October 7th, 1974 in Wichita, Texas. Gary and Patricia didn't have children. Gary Farrar then married Ceilia Ann Camp (1941 - 2004) on July 6th, 1992 in Wichita County, Texas. Gary died on April 28th, 2006 in Texas at the age of 52. He is buried at Wichita County Cemetery in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas.
