Shemaka. She was married to Mary Margaret McLean Shemaka in November 1947, and they were together until Mary's death in Feb. She had a child Joan Margaret Mary Shemaka Fitzsimmons. George Shemaka died at age 91 years old on November 4, 2017 at LIndens in Ames, Story County, IA, and was buried on June 2, 2018 at Calverton National Cemetery in Wading River, Suffolk County, NY.
