Introduction

My mother was born in WA and lived all her adult life in OR. Her father worked in the woods and was killed there when she was 15yrs. Old. She married T.W. Newell in Wa when she was 21 yrs. old. They had 3 children. She divorced and remarried Elmer Rutledge and had one child, a son Frank. Elmer died in 1973. My mom took care of foster children for many,many years.

My mother married my father Theodore Newell in 1932 in Castle Rock, WA they were married until 1945 and in 1955 she married Elmer Rutledge. They had one child together Frank Rutledge born in 1957.
