Hilary A. Leister, 81 of Stoneboro RD 2 died Tuesday, August 16, 1994, at United Community Hospital of Grove City. Born June 16, 1913, in Pittsburhg, he was the son of John A Leister and Anna M. Hannen Leister. His first wife Gertrude M. Lauterbach, preceded him in death, as did his second wife, Winifred Streicher-Sensenbach. He married Virginia Beach-Woods on July 3, 1977. She survives. Mr. Leister was employed as a supervisor by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He retired in 1975 after 11 years of service. In addition to his wife, Mr. Leister is survived by four children, William H. Leister of Core, W.Va., Mrs. Ruel (Audrey E.) Root of Vowinkel, Doroth A. Kelso of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. William (Rosalind M.) Klinkenberger of Bethel Park; four stepchildren: Fred Sensenbach of Franklin, Walter Woods Jr. of Stoneboro, Steven Woods of Lickingville and Mrs. Al (Patricia) Wareham of Stoneboro; 25 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two wives. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home in Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. The Rev. Ronald C. Bole of the Franklin Assembly of God Church will officiate. Internment will be in the St. Patrick Cemetery, Franklin.
