My grandfather n he was a very crafty n talented person. My only memories of him was in an assisted living facility. My mother father n I visited on every other sunday n he wasn't ever in the best of health from my memories bc he trembled severely.. He made tobogans n sculptures out of popsicle sticks n clothes pins. Wish I had held on to a couple of those tobogans for my boys... I missed the last several yrs of his life bc my parents divorced n I moved in with my grandmother buff in chesnee sc. My dad picked me up from school to attend his funeral. My dad passed soon after that on april 24th 1996. It seemed like a much longer time span. 5yrs seemed like 20.. I will always respect my dad for taking the time n putting forth the effort to visit him eventhough I can't remember my dad ever driving or having license. My experience without license has been very difficult getting from place to place.. That was long before uber!!
