Idealla Rose Wilson Moore

I have an old studio photograph of Rose WILSON which was taken at the Bell J. Gerhart Studio in Peru, IN in 1913. Rose appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Rose and her family:

Idella Rose “Rosa” WILSON was b. 15 Apr 1896 in Pulaski or Miami County, IN to parents Oliver WILSON (1867-1922) and Idella “Della” GANGWER or GAINWOIR (1873-1948) who were married 9 Sept 1891 in Miami County, IN. Rose was one of 11 children born to this couple including Floyd; Ralph J.; Rose; Ernest Ray; Lola; Ernest Thomas; Lewis or Louis; Elbert; Catherine or Katherine Magdalena or Magdaline; Oliver Woodrow; and Tillman WILSON, all born between 1892 and 1915.

Rose married Harry Everett MOORE (1891-1965) on 17 or 18 Mar 1920 in Peru, IN, and they had three children including Evelyn or Eveleen Jean MOORE CLINGAMAN (1921-2012); Harry Everett MOORE Jr. (1923-1960); and Betty Lavon MOORE BRADY HERD (1931-2007). It appears that Rose’s husband had two additional children from a previous marriage including Roscoe Edison MOORE (1916-1972) and Earl Edmon MOORE (1919-1999). Rose died 26 Jul 1980 in Peru or Macy, IN and is buried in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, IN.
