The First congregation Church was organnized in 1693. It is located in South Lyme.

The Second Congegational Church of Lyme was organized at East Lyme in 1719. This church has lost its early records.

The Third Church of Lyme organized in 1727, in Hamburgh, has also lost its early records.

There is also record of a Eunice Robbins and Solomon Williams married Nov 6 1777, at the New Haven Second Church,
