John McDonald Morton was born on October 4, 1907 in Kerang, Gannawarra Shire County, VIC Australia to Elizabeth Russell Morton and George Henry Morton. He married Joyce Irene Lilla Morton ( Love, and had children Peter Morton and Robert Morton. John Morton died at age 50 years old in April 1958, and was buried at Springvale Botanical Cemetery in Springvale, Greater Dandenong City County.
