    Juanita (Nita) Chrismon Hendricks was born in Nolensville, Williamson County, Tennessee, January 16, 1939 and departed this blessed life on February 5, 2001. She was the daughter of the late John and Margaret Chrismon. She professed her faith in Christ and united with Ebenezer United Methodist Church, later she moved her membership to Patterson Memorial United Methodist Church. At a later date she joined the fellowship of Clayborne Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Scott Clayborne. She was very please for the spirit of love that is the foundation of the Church. Under Pastor John R. Holt's administration, she served as a Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, Church Clerk and Mother's Board, but most of all as a faith full member. She received her early formal education in the public school system of Williamson County, Tennessee and received her high school diploma from Pearl High School, Nashville, Tennessee. Continuing to further her educational goals and objectives, she received a degree in Nursing with Honors from UT Nashville. After becoming a Registered Nurse, she was employed at Baptist Hospital for twenty-seven years until her retirement. On December 17, 1994, after retirement, she was employed at CCA for five years. On April 3, 1955, she was joined in Holy Matrimony to George Stokes Hendricks, Sr. (Pilla). This union lasted forty-six years, she loved Pilla unconditionally until her last breath. "Nita" loved her pastor, often after she became ill, she would say "call my Pastor, I want to talk to him". She thought of him not only as her Pastor, but brother and devoted friend. With pleasant memories to always cherish, she leaves her husband, Deacon George S. Hendricks, Sr.; five children, George Jr. (Ellen), Barry (Janice), Venita (Jack) Jackson, Darnell and Gloria (Kevin) Snelling; devoted sister, Mary Frances (Russell) Lockridge; mother-in-law, Mother Annie Mae Hendricks; thirteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two aunts, Laura Pearl and Aggie Chrismon; four nieces, four nephews, numerous other relatives and friends. Service of Love was held Saturday, February 10, 2001 at 12:00 Noon at Clayborne Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 147 Trinity Road, Franklin, Tennessee. Eulogist John R. Holt Pastor. Interment-Woodlawn Memorial Park, Nashville, TN Services Entrusted to Patton Brothers Funeral Home/Directors, Nashville and Franklin, Tennessee.
