Laurene has a BS in political science from University of Pennsylvania School of Arts & Sciences, a BS in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from Stanford Grad school.
Personal Life & Family

Laurene is a mother, an avid outdoorswoman, a small-plot farmer, a beekeeper and a Halloween enthusiast. She was married to Steven Paul Jobs and upon his death inherited the Steven P. Jobs Trust. She is very active in philanthropy and political causes. She met Steve in 1989 when she snuck to the front of a lecture at Stanford and began conversing with the man sitting next to her. He stood up and introduced himself as the guest lecturer. After the lecture was done, Jobs is quoted as saying "I was in the parking lot with the key in the car, and I thought to myself, 'If this is my last night on earth, would I rather spend it at a business meeting or with this woman? I ran across the parking lot, asked her if she'd have dinner with me. She said yes, we walked into town and we've been together ever since."
