Introduction

The Age, Melbourne, 24 October 1945. WEDDINGS. BAKER - PAUL. Twelve warrant officers formed a guard of honor for the marriage of Lauris Aileen, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. N. Paul, Upper Ferntree Gully, to W. O. 1 Laurence Baker, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Baker, at St John's Church, Lower Ferntree Gully, on Saturday. Father O'Flynn officiated. The bride chose a frock of white satin and her tulle veil was held in place with white carnations. White gardenias and carnations and lily of the valley formed her bouquet. She was attended by her cousin, Miss Nanette Paul, and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Claire Baker.
