Leonard Acord c. 1922 - 1990

Leonard Acord of Glen White, Raleigh County, WV was born on June 25, 1922 at 20 Mile, in Nicholas County to Willey Blackburn Acord and Stella Mae Tolliver-Acord. He had siblings Gaylord Acord, Earl L. Acord, Randoph Acord, Obe Acord, Donald Dean Acord, Basil Acord, Ecoe Acord, and Roberta Acord. Leonard was baptized at First Church of God in Lester , Raleigh County. He married Myrtle Arlee Richards-Acord, and had children Leonard Acord, Arnold David Acord, Rodney Lee Acord, Stella Carol Acord-Asbury, Wilma June Acord-Ward, and Jeffrey Allen Acord. Leonard Acord died at age 68 years old on October 23, 1990, and was buried at Shumate Family Cemetery Maple Meadow Rd, in Lester.
