Levi M. Barnhart was a soldier in the United States Civil War. . Levi Martin Barnhart. Born on 18 Jul 1826 in Hampden Township, Cumberland County Pa.., and died in Morgan County Ill . 10 Nov 1875. Levi was married twice. The first time to Louisa M (Maria) Snyder on Sept 26, 1848 and according to their divorce papers lived with her until 29 March 1861,This would have made Levi approximately 35 years old when he got his divorce. they had six children and was divorced "For reasons satisfactory, the vinculum matrimonial was annulled." On May 25th 1863 . Levi married a 2nd time to marry Susan J. Walker in Illinois
