She had a brother Kevin Kirwan. Marcia was baptized in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County. She married James Harvey Standley Jr. on August 7, 1957 at Saint Anne's Chapel Tasso Street, in Palo Alto, Santa Clara County and they later divorced in 1976. Marcia Standley died at age 79 years old on December 1, 2015 in Redwood City, San Mateo County.
