She had siblings William Macklin, Elizabeth Mcklin, Maria Mcklin, Sarah Jane Macklin, Mary Ann Jane (Macklin) Smith, John Thomas Macklin, and Charles Henry Macklin. Mary Macklin died at age 6 years old in 1868 in Bullarook.
