Mary Henderson (Nish) Mackay was born on July 22, 1859 at Sandhurst in Bendigo, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC Australia to Rev. James Nish and Margaret (Young) Nish, and had siblings Dr. James Alexander David Nish, Samuel George Nish, Augusta Elizabeth Nish, John Henderson Young Nish, and Janet Henderson (Nish) Thom. She married George Mackay on November 24, 1886 at St. Andrew's Church, Sandhurst, in Greater Bendigo City County, Victoria, and they were married until Mary's death on June 6, 1930. Mary Mackay had children Major Murdoch Nish Mackay and Dr. George Eric Mackay.

Aged 70 years.

District Attorney and son of Francis Scott Key, writer of the national anthem, for having an affair with his wife. Sickles claimed temporary insanity - the first to do so - and was acquitted.
