Find records of George Carr
Two more sons were born later to William and Laura Myrtle (Fields) Lynch, Joseph and John R. Lynch. John, who lives on the site of the former home in Mitchell, Indiana of David Lawrence Sheeks, his ancestor, and besides farming, took care of the Sheeks Cemetery in Mitchell for many years until his son and grandsons could take over. It is located at the foot of the hill towards his home and backs up to the old property of David's parents, George & Elizabeth (Canote) Sheeks. John Lynch is as knowledgeable about the Sheeks as anyone can be, and gave me a great deal of help, for which I will be forever grateful. His mother was the daughter of Priscilla's half-sister, Mary (Sheeks)Fields.

In front is Madeline Neal, daughter of Rose (Carr) Neal, who is behind her. Next to Rose is her sister, Elsie (Carr) Tyree. In the rear are John Edwin Carr, Rose's son; Priscilla (Sheeks) Carr, and George W. Carr, her husband, both of whom raised John. From a shadow, I believe George is smoking a pipe.

I do not know the name of the little boy on the left in front of Judith (Spencer) Sheeks.
The woman between Priscilla (Sheeks) Carr and Erma (Horvath) Carr is Ellie (Fields)Sheeks.
