Peggy Sue (Corkhill) Bowers, Peggy Sue Bowers, 58,Huntington, IN., died at 6:30 PM on Friday, December 16, 2005, at Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw, IN. Mrs. Bowers was born April 14, 1947 in Huntington, IN. to Quentin and Flossie Wicker Corkhill. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Bowers was a 1965 graduate of Huntington High School. She married Michael Bowers on October 6, 1978. Mr. Bowers survives and lives in Huntington, IN. Mrs. Bowers worked in the Layaway Department at Kmart in Huntington. Additional survivors include: 1 daughter: Mrs. Dan (Melanie) Dahms, Topeka, IN. and 1 Stepdaughter: Mrs. Chris (Amie) LaRue, Columbia City, IN. 1 Brother: Robert (Bobby) Corkhill, Huntington and 1 sister: Mrs. Tom (Linda) Corkhill Cartwright, Ft. Wayne. 6 Grandchildren:Steven Dahms,Scott Strater Jr.,Nicole Anderson,Nakesha LaRue,Latiesha LaRue and Tawsha LaRue. and 1 Great-grandson: Quamarey LaRue. Calling will be on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M. at the McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN. Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 21, 2005 at 10:00 AM at, the McElhaney - Hart Funeral Home Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Birdsall officiating. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery, Huntington, IN. with Rev. John Summers officiating. Preferred memorials to donate choice in care of the McElhaney- Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St. Huntington, IN. McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN. is in charge of arrangements.
