Priscilla Poland died at age 73 years old on September 13, 1947 in Melbourne, and was buried at Portland Cemetery 267 Cape Nelson Rd, in Portland.

    The Portland Guardian. 18th September 1947. - Miss Priscilla Burswood Poland. The death of Miss Priscilla Poland, a native of Portland, is reported from Melbourne, where her remains were brought and interred in the South Cemetery. Her father was closely connected with the Hentys in the early days and for some time acted as gardener for Edward at "Burswood." The late Miss Poland had a most facile pen, and was the contributor of verse to this and other journals on many occasions. The Poland estate on Nelson road is now practically all built on and is a decided acquisition to the residential portion of the town.
