The Act survived many Supreme Court challenges and the Administration continues until today.

1946 - At the age of 25 years old, Ralph was alive when pediatrician Dr. Benjamin Spock's book "The Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care" was published. Crack was 80% pure and therefore was more addictive. It was also cheaper, making it more easily available to low income neighborhoods.
