Introduction

She died on board ship while returniig from a visit to tjhe US --she lived in Majorca Spain.That may be where she died, but her eledest daughter lived in Leiden. She had been a nurse and it is said she ws a terrible patient. I only remember her as an old lady who walked very slowly. She was reputed to be an excellent cook and I have always though I took after her.

Undated photo of Rose (aka Raizl) (Bonime) Wolf, my maternal grandmother, probably taken when my aunt Inez Wolf (I am guessing the is she, not my mother, who was probably not born yet) was about 4 years of age. (My mother was born Sept, 1920.

Historical note- this means my grandmother was just about to become (or has just become) eligible to VOTE!
