Ruth S Delaporte of Croghan, Lewis County, NY was born on June 17, 1921 in Clinton, Oneida County to Fred A. Strobel and Florence Harvey. Ruth Delaporte had siblings George Strobel, Victor E Strobel, Frances Elizabeth Strobel, Jane C. Strobel, John F. Strobel, Ada Winifred Strobel, Virginia S. Strobel, Herbert Eugene Strobel, Marcella Strobel, and Donald Lawrence Strobel. She married Harold F. Mahaffy on January 30, 1946 in Boonville, Oneida County. She would also marry Henry DeLaPort. Ruth Delaporte died at age 70 years old on August 22, 1991, and was buried in Croghan, Lewis County.
