He had siblings Elizabeth (Yahraus ) Bloom, Charles Yahraus IV, Chris J Yahraus, George Yahraus, Benjamin H Yahraus, Joseph Yahraus, Frank Yahraus, Theodore Yahraus, and Albert Yahraus. He married Bertie C (Honroth) Yahraus on February 14, 1901, and they were married until Valentine's death on November 1, 1952. He had children Wilbert V. Yahraus, Erwin Oscar Yahraus, and Raymond Yahraus. Valentine Yahraus was buried on November 4, 1952 at Knollwood Cemetery Association 1678 Som Center Rd - Section 21, Lot 419, in Mayfield Heights.
