Walter Fedishen was my father’s older brother. He died during training exercises for D Day. He drowned when the “boat” he was in capsized, he could not swim. He is buried in a military cemetery in NY.He has one daughter, Barbara Martin. Walter had 2 sisters Anna and Joanna, 1 brother John. Parents names were Michael and Anna Kitt, both immigrants from Ukraine. They owned a small farm in Colchester Ct. Michael was a cook in NYC and traveled back and forth.
