He was my grandfather but more of my father to me , we lived at 134 south mill street in Plainfield IN ,,the town had people move in from ritzy places and got onto the town board and stole my inherited land there through eminent domain just before the US Supreme court sided with we the people because they just needed more parks than needed and also my mother Ethel L. Stanley Jordan's land too there . He worked hard and was a kind polite Quaker and even one time stopped to help and drive in his semi truck a man and woman in labor with a broken down car to a hospital to give birth and was featured in the Indianapolis Star paper of the event .
