Yeshaya Mermelshtain was my brother whom I never knew, because I was born after the war in 1947, when my dear mother Chana Mermelshtain, lost her five children in Auschwitz and her husband too, and in 1946 she marry my father Mordechai Pollak, who was a widow himself.
