Jesse Bain, KY

My father Jesse Bain, d 9/11/1951, in his blacksmith shop. He learned the Blacksmith trade from my Grandfather, James Thompson Hackney, at McKees Crossroads,Woodford
County, Kentucky. Taken in his Midway Kentucky shop, Probably around the late 30's or early 40's.

I am 81 years old and well remember the old blacksmith shop I passed on my way to school. I can still hear the ringing sound as he pounded on the hot shoes to make them the right size.A trip down memory lane !
