This man must have been very brave and committed to his beliefs. I have an Andrew Jackson Franklin and a Thomas Jefferson Franklin in my line. My Andrew Jackson Franklin fought in Civil War for Texas. I hope my line is connected to this man. Janet

Janet, my great grandfather was Andrew Jackson Franklin who fought in the Civil War in the Texas Cavalry. He married Donna Isabell Tatum and lived in Greenwood, Sebastian, AR.

Janet, Sounds like your Andrew Franklin and my Andrew Franklin are one and the same. His father was Josiah Franklin and Josiah's father was Thomas Jefferson Franklin.
