While I don’t have him in my database , I believe he descends from William Trowbridge (1633) & Elizabeth Lamberton (1621) who emigrated from England to West Haven, New Haven Co., Connecticut.

I did find the following entry but the name is unreadable on the actual census & whether or not this is a daughter is also questionable. There are hundreds of Trowbridges in CT at the time.
