Gladstone & Louise Agnes
Here is a poor copy of a photo taken in London, England in 1917. Two of
our cousins are in it, children of Angus Gillis MacDonald of River Denys
Mountain and Antigonish. The soldier is Lt. W.E. Gladstone MacDonald, M.C.,
who won the Military Cross for bravery at Valrnciennes and Cambrai. His
sister, Louise Agnes MacDonald, R.N., was awarded the Royal Red Cross for
her services in field hospitals in France and Belgium.
