Martin Perez Santos was legally married to Dominga Valentin-Perez for 52 years. They had a lovely family with 2 daughters by the names of Jean and Maricel. He died in may 2012 and his wife Dominga died on July 2012. They are both up in heaven hand-in-hand sharing in God's grace. Martin Perez-Santos passed away May 29,,2012) in "el Districto de San Juan Puerto Rico a United States of America Territory at a Veterans Administration Hospital. . He was born on May 18, 1935 in Culebra Puerto Rico. Son of the late Martin Perez Yamaha and the late Geralda Santos of Spanish and Mulato descendants. Mr. Perez-Santos is survived by his daughters Maricel and Jean and a son he has in Culebra, P.R.. His only legal wife, Dominga Valentin de Perez; also deceased in July, 2012. He is also preceded by his brothers Francisco Perez-Santos and Luis Perez-Santos, also his sisters Mercedes, Susana, a a third sister that lives in he America Virgin Islands. Mr. Perez Santos made a military career in the United States army where he was a Sergeant stationed in Germany where he was well liked by his superiors, colleagues and natives of the German Town where he was stationed. He worked as a shipping foreman supervisor for Malabe Shipping company in Brooklyn, NY. He was also considered a "Brooklynite" and true Puerto Rican New Yorker, so was his wife Dominga Perez.. He was a longtime member of the Culebra Softball Social Club, and he played professional Softball when he was a teenager. He was going to be singed into the professional leagues but he decided to join the army at the age of 17. He was a great cook often cooking some great delicious Lobster dishes. Martin had two beloved pet dogs, Whitey and Bodie. He was proud to be a Puerto Rican and an American. Friends where invited to pay their respects and farewell in he celebration of his life where he was laid to rest until the coming of our lord and savior Jesus Christ at the "Cementerio Nacional" in Santurce, Puerto Rico.
