I’ve “rescued” two old photographs belonging to the FROIN and WITHERAW Families of Michigan. The first is a photograph of Dr. FROIN’S Wife of Champion, MI which was taken at the Childs Studio in Marquette, MI. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880’s or 1890’s with Mrs. FROIN likely in her 30’s or 40’s at the time it was taken. The second photograph is identified as Mrs. Annie WITHERAW and was taken at the Childs Studio in Ishpeming, MI likely in the 1880’s. This photograph is of a young woman in her 20’s holding a small child of about 2-4 years of age. Annie is also described as the niece of Dr. FROIN of Champion, MI.
