My mom Sonny age23 riding her horses in S.Korea. 2years before I was born.

My dad Levi G. Wilkes Jr was dating my mom at this time. He bought her that horse and guitars. He would enter her in beauty pageants on the army, navy and air force bases. She won Miss Officers Club and other titles. Her biggest title was Miss Indian Head. She got a 4ft high tiarra. A 8fy tall trophy, mink coat and shall and a grand prize of $5000. Which was huge amount in 1976. She brought home many crowns, sashes, trophies and cash rewards. My dad was so proud and wanted show my mom off. Plus not only she was pretty. She helped build schools, donate to orphanages and used her charm to raise money from military men to give back to the kids after the war.

My name is Patricia Pauline Wilkes. Dob 10-15-1977. I don't know my family. My stepdad raised me since I was 5. I'm searching for any Wilkes. My dad's name is Levi Grant Wilkes Jr. He was born july4, 1943. He served in the Air Force and then became an Alabama State cop. Then retired in L.A, California. He's from Florence, Al area. He passed April 2, 2010. My grandpas name is also Levi Grant Wilkes Sr. He was in the 3rd infantry Marines Wii Pearl Harbor. He was from the Florida area. I have an aunt name Mary Lee Nichols from Sheffield, Alabama area. If you think we're related give me a shout out. I'm dying to know my roots. I will never know my mom's side of the family because they are all in S.Korea and we left there 40 years ago. Thank you.
