Description:
During Prohibition, two Navy nurses were tried for smuggling liquor into the U.S. They were, in the parlance of the time, scofflaws. Maybe it was just "medicinal alcohol"?

They are pictured here at the Navy Yard with their attorneys but no one is identified by name.
