Description:
An Aerial recon photo of Reims, France after German shelling This "realphoto" postcard appears to have been made from an aerial reconnaissance photo of Reims, France, taken after the German shelling of the city. The German spelling of "Kathedrale" leads me to think this may have been a German recon photo. There is a lot of detail in this photo, but I don't think much will show up clearly after the Ancientfaces image processing. I've uploaded an enlarged detail of the cathedral separately.
Date & Place: in Reims, Marne County, Grande Est France
