The pants would probably give it away-I think jeans came in style during the 50's, before that it was just a woven fabric, in the 40's. Maybe only one with jeans?
My guess is the later 1940s...not quite 50s yet. Bit of the East Side Kids / Bowery Boys about them. The shirts and jeans (to me) look post-war but pre-50s. Great group.
This is my youth era and I can only say how we felt but it was said that a tattoo was a sign of immaturity in those times. I know that was then, tattoos are nothing new but they just were not the usual thing like now.

50's rolled sleeves, DAs and dips, dungarees on 2 of them, wild root creme oil hair dressing, the guy in the middle probably had a pack of lucky's rolled in the other t-shirt sleeve, slight smiles or none (not cool to smile in a pic)....yep 50's.
