Rosa Casalina-Rispoli showing off a lot of style. Love the hat and the purse but we know that many will object to the fur. We don't know the date - can you tell from the fashion clues?

I love the hat, purse and the fur ❤️ and don’t worry about those who don’t like the fur, it’s an old photo.

Pre WW I . The lavish use of glass beads on her skirt and dainty beaded bag and tall broad rimmed satin hat. Love the fur , tail and all and her dainty necklace. Beautiful portrait of a beautiful woman .👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Beautiful, my grandma had a fox collar on her pretty green coat. My grandpa caught the fox himself, they didn’t have the money to buy one, but it looked very nice on her coat.

Pat Lo Duca That's not underwear. At the edge of the dress sleeve, near her elbow, you can see that the white material actually ends.

This woman is wearing an expensive and fashionable dress. No way she would have worn long winter underwear under it that showed like that! And only winter underwear had long sleeves.

We can't see her other arm, so it's possible it might even be a bandage on her arm. People did get injured back then and had to have bandages. But that wouldn't have stopped her from getting her picture taken on a special occasion.

I’m guess is 30’s because that’s when that fur was popular.

I'd say early to mid 20's, judging by dress style and hat. The hat is close to Edwardian style.

I still have a fox stole that belonged to my aunt. It's in my mom's cedar chest that I don't have a key for. 🤩🤩🤩

The lowered waistline is definitely the 1920s, as is the way the sleeves drape, the beading, and the hat and veil, too.

IF she passed in 1975, then this photo was maybe 1920's?

I have one of those furs. It was my grandmother's so I'm thinking late 20's or early 30s..

The dress looks like it has a dropped waist indicating the 1920s. We have to remember that this era was not far from the time when you had to have real fur to stay warm. Then through the 1930s and 1940s women clung to a fur stole as a fashion and as a bit of show off.

Linda Vance the 20's is what I was thinking to because of the dress style.

1921-1923 max. Because the hat is still wide and looks like edwardians patterns. And dress is still not fitted at all
