Believe it or not, back in the 50's, when I was on the girl's basketball team at my school, we wore a bloomer-type uniform. Ours were shorter than these...a few inches above our knees, and they were all one piece, but definitely not like the uniforms of today!

I have a haunting photograph of actress Marian Marsh (wearing a necktie) on my computer. She was one of the prettiest actresses of the 1930's. She also had an adorable speaking voice. These ladies are forever young on celluloid.
