maybe. and, she might be wearing her mother's wedding gown. you know, something borrowed, something blue... it's not the style for 1927, though.

She may have borrowed it, I don't know for sure . Her mother was married in the 1890's so I'm sure it wasn't her gown

um - the flapper dress was around then, especially in the outer suburbs. Just because it is tea length, doesnn't mean the date is wrong; brides' dresses were more modest than flappers'!

Christine Corrêa potentially the dress might have been reused. But the owner of the photo has documented the date taken as 1927. Good eyes!
